Job Description

• Design and implementation of department policies.
• Medical device Utilization Assessment & analysis.
• Controlling complete record of all medical equipment installed in the hospital containing Installation & commissioning, Annual maintenance contracts, Calibration, Preventive maintenance and Breakdown and troubleshooting details
• Lead the Audit for NABH, NABL etc.
• Developing capital expenditure budget (CAPEX) for medical equipment.
• Inventory planning & management of high value medical equipment.
• Well verse with regulatory standard i.e AERB, PNDT and PESO.
• Plan for facilities ongoing maintenance to ensure their upkeep
• Test and analyze the effectiveness of biomedical equipment or system
• Vendor development, management and coordination.
  Handle first level service and support to equipment thereby reducing the equipment down time.
• Reviewing and controlling the inventory of Biomedical engineering stores.
• Diagnoses and resolves product performance problems. Perform maintenance and repair services.
• Part of purchase committee functions to prepare technical comparisons of medical equipment and negotiate to the best price of the same based upon the technical, functional & utilization of the organization
